Friendship is Magic 2nd Anniversaryby ~SouthParkTaoist

Done in the style of old engravings that I like, I made this in honor of My Little Pony: Friendship of Magic, which first aired two years ago on October 10th, 2010. Coincidentally the Republic of China was founded on October 10th, 1911, and uses the sun as their symbol much like how Equestria uses Celestia's sun as their symbol. Also the first Pony toys from Hasbro were released in 1982 (only Earth Ponies), but they didn't use the title My Little Pony till 1983. However this would make 2012 the 30th Anniversary of the first pony toys.

I only worked 3 hours on this since I have premed homework I must attend to, though I wished I put more time into this.

I'm a Classics student; the thesis will deal with modern reception of Greek mythology and classical motifs in MLP. Which makes the image quite relevant.
